One Wild Summer amusingly chronicles the ribald times of a freewheeling group of ocean lifeguards during one summer in the libertine seventies. It was a rare era in American culture, with its sexually liberated times, juxtaposed between "the pill" and the AIDS epidemic. And, in the midst of this very permissive atmosphere, these guys took an exponential leap beyond the loose sexual morays of the day, turning the one-hundred-plus days of summer into one extraordinary romp.
